06.17.07 :: father’s day

Today was Father’s Day! We hung out on the front yard under a tree with Grandpa while Jett played with “Legos”, Gavin played “muddy cars” and pro wrestling with Grandpa, and Zakk just kicked back. Later we had a BBQ, and I promised myself this was the last time to pig out because I’m going to start working out! Erin looks amazing, and it’s so hard to believe she just had a baby two weeks ago. Me on the other hand…looking like I’m 9 months prego! Haha. It was a nice day relaxing, and being thankful for the blessings in our family we’ve had this year. Hope you had a great weekend.

06.09.07 :: melissa + paul

We have been looking forward to this wedding for over a year! When we met Melissa and Paul we knew their wedding was going to be a lot of fun. Melissa and Paul tied the knot at the Grand Californian in downtown Disney! The colorful floral designs were prepared by Flowers By Cina and the sounds of the party were presented by Invisible Touch DJ in Irvine. The afternoon was flawlessly coordinated by Julie at the Grand Californian.

If you have been reading long, you’ll remember they are also big Disney fans and we had an awesome engagement session at Disneyland last year. Check here to see those. They are truly one of the nicest couples we have ever worked with along with their family and friends. Erin was really sad she couldn’t be there to shoot this one with me (since she just had Zakk on 06.06.07 she’s on baby duty at the moment) but she’ll be back. I did however have the honor of having the master and the man responsible for putting the first camera in my hand, second shoot with me today, Carlos Palos. My father! He has an amazing eye, and together we captured some great moments from today. Here are a few of those moments from today. Check back next week here to see their slideshow!

baby zakk is here!

Baby Zakk Antonio Palos was born on 06.06.07 at 7:05pm. He weighed in at 6.15 lbs and was 20″ long. Erin and Zakk are doing great. I just wanted to post a quick couple of snaps from this morning for everyone to see, but I better get back though… I was supposed to be grabbing lunch! More coming soon!
