Today Jennifer and Chris tied the knot at the Claremont Presbyterian Church. Though it was a little warm out, it still made for a great day. After the ceremony, we headed over to the Claremont Colleges to shoot their pics. Jennifer and Chris knew exactly what they wanted and they made sure to plan some time for their pictures. I love it when there is time set aside for pictures like this because it just makes for a better experience. It must have been a busy day for weddings too, because we ran into two other photographers I know! Special thanks again to Carlos, aka “pops”, for second shooting with me again. Together we got some really nice shots today. Oh before I forget, this wedding by far has the award for the “Best Party People” we have shot to date. The venue was two levels high and at times I thought we were going to crash to the level below because everyone was dancing non stop and the floor was seriously flexing! You guys rock! Congratulations again Jennifer and Chris!

Today I had the pleasure of shooting some thoroughbred race horses for a client in Temecula. This was a first for me, but it was an amazing experience. You may see them at the track next time, so here are the “past”, “current” and “future” racer’s names. “Got Swiss”, “Muddy Waters”, “Vagabondia”, and “Premier One”. The ranch alone was huge and had many amazing views. The facility is setup to train these horses like true athletes, complete with it’s own starting gates and practice race track. I’m looking forward to shooting again from the actual race track featuring more shots of the owner’s other race horses. Thanks again to Mitch, Rachel, and Billy for great afternoon.
