09.28.07 – 09.29.07 :: tara + robert

This weekend Louis and I had the pleasure of shooting Tara and Robert’s wedding. Friday afternoon they were sealed at the San Diego Temple, which is such a gorgeous place and it was such a perfect, beautiful day. Saturday they had a ring ceremony and reception in Ladera Ranch. This couple has such wonderful family and friends and we were so happy to be part of such a beautiful wedding day.

Today Amanda and Jon tied the knot at Padua Hills in Claremont. They had an Asian themed reception, with many little details and bright colors everywhere, complete with a fine Asian cuisine dinner. A ton of thought, planning, and help from their friends and family made this wedding special. The ceremony was in the evening, so we didn’t get as many daylight shots as we would like of the happy couple together, but we found some creative ways to make some nice portraits with some off camera light. I really love their first dance shot too! Congratulations again to you both!

This was a great wedding for us for many reasons. This was Erin’s return to shooting weddings with me since we had baby Zakk this past June. It was great shooting together again. If you remember, we just shot our happy couple’s engagements a couple of weeks ago. They are from London, England and came all the way out to have their wedding at the beautiful Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes with their closest family and friends. It’s such a huge compliment and honor when someone books with us without even meeting with us first, and solely because they like our style. Ok on to the wedding! Kristin was rockin a very elegant “Vera Wang” gown complimented by a stunning family heirloom necklace that has been in weddings of the family for over three generations. Love hearing about that kind of stuff!
