01.12.08 :: Trash The Dress . Salton Sea (part 1)

Today we headed to the Salton Sea to meet up with about 35 other photographers, a dozen or so brides, grooms, and models willing to “trash the dress.” It was so much fun! At first I was thinking this was going to be crazy with so many shooters, but everyone was really friendly, and willing to help each other out with props, lighting, and reflectors. It was great to shoot like this for fun along side many of my friends, my wife, and even my dad came along to shoot. Here are a few of mine, I’ll post some more later. Gotta go help feed the kids!

It was a super rainy all day today, the entire ceremony was indoors but we still made the best of the day. It was a fantastic reception, full of energy, and celebration for for the bride and groom. Huge thank you to Chara at Open Box Designs for coordinating such a great event! Love this first shot!
