Busy day today with back to back engagement sessions. For the first one we headed over to the Getty Villa to meet up with Ashley and Ray. These two were so funny! They were also great at showing us around since it was our first visit. Highly recommend you visit this place, there is so much to see, I wish we had more time to see everything. A return trip is in the near future for sure. Thanks again Ashley and Ray, we look forward to seeing you both again in June!

Today Ako and Mike tied the knot at one of our favorite places, Rancho Capistrano! I could shoot here everyday, such an awesome backdrop. Even though the sun wasn’t out much, it made for some exceptional lighting conditions all day. Ako and Mike elected to see each before the ceremony, so we staged a “first meeting” on the bridge. Ako was an absolutely stunning bride, friends and family kept commenting how she looked like she stepped right out of a fashion magazine. Mike was a handsome groom, and you could see how happy he was all day. Being from the east coast, one of Mike’s wishes was to have a wedding cake made of canolies! It was a hit, and yes they tasted just as good as they looked! Side note, I know you’ve all seen a ton of ring shots before, but this one is really cool because you can actually see me and the bride behind me in background. Crazy huh? Thank you again, for having us along!

Nice Friday wedding with Suzette and Armando. We met with them just two weeks ago! Their original photographer had an emergency and had to cancel last minute, but they found us instead! We found this really nice location to shoot most of our shots before the ceremony. This turned out great because it was completely dark outside after the ceremony. Thanks again to the family and bridal party for being so nice and sharing some of that delicious cake! Special thanks also to Jeanette Sanchez for shooting with us today. We had fun!
